Your Story Starts Here
Life is made of little stories: the stretch of a yawn, the curl of a tiny hand, the way your family laughs together. I create images that feel like life itself — honest, unposed, and full of emotion. Every session is guided by your family’s rhythm, so the photos you receive are not just pictures, but memories you’ll return to again and again.

FAQs
-
For in-home sessions, I recommend scheduling during early daylight hours, typically between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., when natural light is soft and abundant.
For most outdoor sessions, the best light is at sunrise or about two hours before sunset. That said, some story sessions may benefit from a different time of day depending on the activity and location. I’m always happy to help determine the best timing for your specific session.

Family story sessions are meant to reflect who you truly are. When you look back on your photos, they should feel like a genuine day in your life—because that’s when the most authentic memories are made. Think about what you love to do together: a family tennis match, game night, or a favorite hike. Tell me about your family, and I’ll help you brainstorm ideas that feel natural, meaningful, and uniquely yours.
-
For all sessions, I recommend sending me a photo you love from Pinterest or elsewhere for inspiration—I’m always happy to share ideas based on your vision. The colors you choose play a huge role in the overall look and feel of your photos, so I encourage you to consult with me when planning your wardrobe. Whether you’re drawn to bold, vibrant colors or soft, neutral tones, I’ll help guide you so your session feels cohesive and true to you
-
You don’t need a perfectly styled home to have beautiful photos. Before your session, I recommend tidying the main areas where we’ll be shooting and letting in as much natural light as possible by opening curtains and blinds. Neutral spaces photograph beautifully, but most importantly, your home should feel lived-in and true to you. I’ll guide you on where to shoot and help move small items as needed so you can relax and focus on enjoying time together

I always encourage families to leave strict discipline at the door during our session. When kids are free to play, explore, and be themselves, the photos feel more natural and joyful. Rather than forcing poses or perfect behavior, we’ll follow their lead and work with their energy and personalities. This approach allows genuine moments to unfold—and those are the images you’ll treasure most.
