Hi, I’m Kelly!
I’m the photographer behind Figli Studio, and my passion is capturing life as it really happens: the real, unscripted moments that make your story yours. From those early newborn days to the everyday joy of family life, I document the beauty in connection and emotion.
The name Figli, meaning “children” in Italian, comes from my last name — DiFiglia — and reflects where my heart first found its muse: family. My own family inspires me every day and will forever be my “why” behind this work.
Why Storytelling Photography?
I’ve always been drawn to the deep connections within families, especially during the transformative moments of pregnancy and early parenthood. My passion for photography began when I photographed my sister’s pregnancy — and as I watched her become a parent, I realized just how powerful and fleeting these moments are. I’m here to help preserve them in images that feel honest, meaningful, and full of life.
Are We a Good Fit?
I shoot in a documentary, storytelling style, which means posing is minimal — and real moments are prioritized. Instead of stiff photos or forced smiles, I use gentle prompts and encourage you to simply be you. Maybe we’ll go for a hike, cook dinner with your kids, or play games at the beach — whatever feels natural to your family. Your photos will reflect movement, emotion, connection, and authenticity — even if a few are beautifully imperfect.
